Perhaps you feel that speaking of bodily fluids is dirty. Maybe you don't like to discuss anything "private." Well Pumpkin really doesn't seem to care. Armed with a hot booze concoction she takes us down a very dark and scary path, all about trees that smell of man mustard. Yuck! Sunshine keeps things a little lighter. We bring you a new band this week called Cal Tjader, some good tribal lounge at its best. Be sure to check out their website and buy some of their music if you enjoy it.

Click HERE to visit the Cal Tjader website. A great resource for anyone who wants to know about Cal Tjader or buy and listen to an album.

Drink of the Week
Hot Apple
1/2 cup 100 proof Cinnamon Schnapps
1/3 cup Dark Rum
4 cups apple juice
3 cinnamon sticks
In a saucepan bring the apple juice and cinnamon sticks to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Remove cinnamon sticks. Add the booze. Stir lightly and pour into mugs. Whip cream goes well with this.

Sunshine and Pumpkin get their Halloween on with a delicious and potent holiday cocktail this week. You can drink this one hot or cold, whatever makes you happy. Sunshine gives it to you both ways. Pumpkin brings us a look into the world of themed clothing for witches and a few thoughts about nothing in particular. And we couldn't let you go without a few tips on planning a great party for the most wicked holiday of the year.

Click HERE to visit Miss Charming.com. This site is for the bartender in all of us. Not a bartender...no problem, lots of resources, books and helpful hints for parties, mixing drinks etc.

Drink of the Week
Festered Wound
1 oz Dark Rum
1oz Silver Rum
1 oz sweet and sour
3 oz OJ mulled with cloves
Put everything in a shaker with 1 1/2 cup crushed ice, shake till its scary, you want froth. Pour into a large collins glass and add a dash of pumpkin pie spice to the foam on top. For the mulled OJ, put 4 cups OJ in a saucepan, add 2 tsp of whole cloves and bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 30 min. Remove cloves and chill. You can also serve this same drink hot, put everything but the booze in a crock pot set on low. Put the shots of rum into the serving glass just before you add the hot punch mixture. Warms the spirits on a fall evening.

Sunshine goes on and on about his new house and Pumpkin gives the dish on the crappy new TV shows for fall. So get ready to relax with our tantalizing tropical cocktail. Oh yeah, one last thing. Be sure to check out the new album from the Aquamarines. Some great tunes for chillin in any lounge or poolside.

Lets face it, not all drinks are good drinks. The Coconut Willie from the Coco Palms on Kuaui is not exactly our favorite. Though you may want to try this one for the unusual gin flavor just to see for yourself. The gin sends Pumpkin on a tiff against the elderly and Jesus. Speaking of Jesus, there is no info that shows that he may have been a little bit closer to Judas than history would have us believe. Sunshine relives a bit of high school memories with his thoughts on the original Star Trek and specifically Mr. Spocks brain. Check out some Star Trek ASAP.

Click HERE to visit the official site of Trader Vics Las Vegas.

Drink of the Week
Coconut Willie
1oz Coconut Cream
2oz Gin
1 tsp Coconut snow
1/4oz Couintreau
Put everything in a blender with 1 1/2 cups ice, blend for a full 30 seconds. Should be very frothy. Garnish with a lime wedge and squeeze over drink just before enjoying.

This is week two of our Gin drinks. The Kamaaina should be pronounced Kah-ah-mah-A-nuh. Pumpkin says it a little different but thats most likely because booze makes her mind go a little on the dirty side. After we get the drink going it only gets less professional from there. We welcome lots of great new listeners from myspace and read an email or two. Remember, this is tell a friend about the show month. Get out there and send a few emails to your friends, tell them how much you enjoy the podcast. We just want everyone to love us as much as we love doing this show.

Click HERE to visit the official site of Trader Vics Las Vegas.

Drink of the Week
Kamaaina
2oz Lemon lime soda
1oz Gin
1oz Coconut syrup
1/2oz Triple Sec
1/2oz Fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups ice cubes
Blend all ingredients with ice for 20-30 seconds. Pour into tall tiki mug and garnish with a mint sprig and a pineapple wedge.

Sunshine and Pumpkin are back from Tennessee with a few tales to tell. No shortage of southern influenced shenanigans this episode. Take a listen to some of our snips from our new recorder that Sunshine actually remembered to bring along on the trip. As if the south wasn't enough we head much farther south for our cocktail this week. Listener Barret suggested we try a Caipirnha, a classic cocktail from Brazil made with cachaca, pronounce that last "C" as an "S" you you'll get it. Let this be a lesson to all of our listeners, you send us a suggestion and you got a 50/50 shot of using it on the show. Sit back and relax, we'll take it from there.

Click HERE to visit the official site of Dollywood, family fun in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Drink of the Week
Caipirnha
3-4oz cachaca
1oz fresh squeezed lime juice
2 tsp bar sugar (super fine)

Wow, what a Summer this has been. Both Sunshine and Pumpkin have been traveling and making the most of our time away from the horrors of working the grind. Our drink this week takes us to yet another exotic location, Havana and Key West, Florida. The weather is nice to. Good old Hernest Hemingway was quite possibly the biggest fan of the daiquiri. This man drank 10,000 cocktails in his time and we salute his memory. This is our first show in a few weeks so we pack in as much shenanigans and vacation stories as possible. Drop in the Lounge for a great alcoholic treat and the usual banter .

Click HERE to visit the official site that can make you an ordained minister just like brother Sunshine.

Daiquiri Floridita

Mothers, they are what they are. This is also week two for our tiki style learning experience. You won't need pen and paper, there won't be a test. Pumpkin gives us an idea of what her upcoming trip to Europe will be like. Starting in London and then swimming over to Spain for some roller coasters and a zip through Euro pride in Madrid. She better bring me a t-shirt. Lastly Sunshine tells the dramatic and insane story of his mother in the pasta restaurant. We end it all (well not END it all) with the usual shenanigans.

Have you ever wanted a hot dog filled with mango? Maybe pineapple. We didnt' either but you can get in Kuaui. How about some cheap gas? Maybe a visit to the Coco Palms, home of Elvis Hawaiian villa. Pumpkin gives lots of reasons to visit the green island. Sunshine didn't get to go on the trip but still has lots to talk about. As we record this weeks episode the snow is coming down in So Cal. Global warming, not really. Our cocktail this week warms from the inside and comes direct from Maui. Pumpkin is very excited to hear that David Beckham will be joining us in LA, though Sunshine doesn't seem to care much about that. Banana Republic has gone ape over big people and Sunshine bitches about a near death parking experience at his favorite coffee house.

Pumpkin has her panties in a bunch over the new ass bleaching fad. Have you ever wanted a pinker ass? Pumpkin tells you how to do it. Pumpkin also tells us about the horrible things people do to seahorses just to get a boner, it's so sad. Sunshine gives the latest on why George W is a little pussy. Lastly we tell you the story of a new character at the lounge, Mozzarella Lady.

Sunshine is staring the new year off with a real bastard of a cold. Hopefully a few drinks and some bitching will cure all. The Zen Tiki Lounge will try some new things this year, much to the dismay of Pumpkin who hates role playing. Keep your minds out of the gutter, it's not that kind of role playing. The show will continue with plenty of drinking, shenanigans and the usual banter between your two favorite podcasting lushes. Did everyone get what they wanted for Christmas? We did. Sunshine received more gift cards than he knows what to do with and Pumpkin got the cold hard cash she always wanted from Daddy!

Drink of the Week
Berries and Cream Martini
3oz Harry and David Berries and Cream mixer
2oz Vodka or Gin, maybe even Rum
Chocolate rimming sugar
In a large shaker double the ingredients and make this for two. Shake with ice and strain into rimmed, chilled martini glass. It just doens't get any easier. This is a great mixer, using fresh fruit and wholesome ingredients. No high fructose corn syrup here.

This week we experience the magic of Renn Loa and the Hawaii Project. This great band has a lead singer with a nice set of pipes. We play two of their songs this week, one for our cocktail and another simply for your listening pleasure. The drink this week isn't worth making, but we gotta honest. We wouldn't want to tell you to try something this awful. We also give some ideas for holiday shopping, what to get the person you don't really care for? Sunshine goes on a long rant about the insane notion of "GUYS GONE WILD." Last but not least, Pumpkin gives us the whole background cousin Jerry the retarded cousin on Facts of Life.

Poinsettia Martini
It's to nasty to drink.
Make your own drink this week, trust us.
