Bangkok Banger Deux
3oz Sprite
3oz Cherry Juice
1oz Vodka
1/2oz Gin
1/2oz Light Rum
1/2oz Grand Marnier
Add Sprite to tall glass. In a shaker combine vodka, gin, rum, cherry juice and grand marnier and shake with ice. Pour slowly over Sprite, keeping a layer of clear bubbly on the bottom. Garnish with a strawberry and parasol.

Well not really, but what would the world be like if old people ran the world? Pumpkin also comes to the conclusion that she can solve all her holiday shopping woes by selling all the old jewelery from ex boyfriends.

6oz sparkling pear cider
1/2oz sour apple schnapps
1/2oz midori
1oz vodka
In a tall glass pour over ice, midori, vodka and schnapps. Stir lightly. Pour pear cider over top and give one more stir.

 

George Bush has done it now. After shipping all of our good American jobs over to China and various other foreign countries, he just won't be happy till we are all out of work. The makers of the original pink lawn flamingo is closing its factory due to high costs of production. What does this mean for those of us who may need a plastic flamingo in an emergency? Only bad. Sunshine gives a few tips for getting your flamingo, throwing a great holiday tiki party and some very tacky decor to go with.

Sunshine and Pumpkin remember the family vacations of past Summers. Pumpkin has a far different view on the old family vacation, hotels not camping. Sunshine ruffed it with a tent and home made camper complet with porta potty. You need to listen just to hear about "hobo stew," quite possibly the best in camp cooking. 2 cups chilled fresh brewed tropical tea
15 smashed mint leaves
splash of roses lime juice
1 cup vodka
2 cups ice.
Mix chilled tea, vodka and lime juice in a pitcher. Stir, add ice and mint leaves. Serve coldwith an orange wheel for garnish.

In our never ending effort to keep it fun and new we crash a listeners pad this week. With booze in one arm and our portable studio in the other we drop by the home of Starshine (her old Indian Maiden name) for some impromtu cocktails, chat and a very short singalong with her husband from the never recorded band airportbar. Drink of the Week:
Fuzzy Ass
2 oz Citrus Vodka
1.5 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz Sour Mix
1 Tsp Grenadine
Fill with Sprite
Combine all ingredients but Sprite in shaker with ice. Cover, Shake and strain into cocktail glass. Pour sprite over top of cocktail. Garnish with a whole strawberry sliced down middle, wedge on glass rim.

Jamaican Tenspeed
1 oz vodka
3/4 oz Melon liqueur
1/4 oz creme de banana
1/4 oz Malibu rum (any coconut rum)
1/2 oz half and half
Put all ingredients in shaker with ice, shake, strain into glass.

Virgin Wanda Wisdom
1 cup frozen or frozen
Strawberries
1 whole kiwi peeled and sliced and frozen
1/4 cup OJ
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup ginger ale
1 cup ice
Put all ingredients in blender, blend for 20-30 seconds and pour in glass. Sugar rim of glass if you like.
